I am linking a sermon from Washington Cathedral on Sunday, June 14 by Rev Dr William Barber II. It's about the circumstances we find ourselves today. It's long but profound. It sheds light on the history of looking the other way and the movement taken shape all around us demanding change.
I not only felt moved, but I felt compelled to shared it with quite a few friends and co-workers, who are struggling with the 'why' and how to navigate. The issues of racism and social justice impact us all, we need to talk about it, understand it and part of the solution. Give a listen, you will be glad you did. Be kind to one another, Patti |
